Comments: Sandbanks and it's 4 beaches are the place to be if you like clean, well-maintained beaches, swimming, xtra-large campsites, paved bike trails and miles of hiking trails. Outlet Beach & Campers Beach are over 2 kilometers long, mainly youngsters and teens - literally thousands! Sandbanks Beach (our favourite) has Caribbean quality sand, large waves, gradual sloping - over 2 kilometers long. This year they added the Sandbanks dog beach - almost 1/2 kilometer of dog-permissable beach with fine sand and clean water. You can even let your pet run free if it is controllable. Dunes Beach - huge 100' dunes, kiddie playground. Local area has uncountable Tea rooms and eateries, over 33 wineries and many, many tourist attractions. The only negative aspect - for some- is that the park is often populated with many Quebeckers and unfortunately, many openly dislike anglophones and are ignorant of normal camping protocols - not all but too many! Oh well!!
