Park STAR Rating (max 5 stars)

Arrival day, Tuesday May 24
Finally got the SunRoom up!

Warm, sunny and dry - high 26
great day to catch some 'rays'!

Brodie after his 4th walk
of the day - totally 'wiped'!

Jackie giving John 'the word' - take
that *&%%$ camera out of my face!

After 4 years - finally hooked one of
these prehistoric babies - and they bite!

30" of Gar - Life Support System for
a lot of really razor-sharp biting teeth!

Hate to throw this beauty back but
Largemouth Bass not in season yet!

This Smallmouth was not quite as big
but it fought twice as hard!

OK, who is more afraid of who, the
'wild' Brodie, or even 'wilder' water snake!

OK this is a neat trail..
are you coming... or what?

Saturday.. once again, weatherman wrong!
Hey! Sunshine beats raun - always!!

Nearby Conservation area causeway.
Good bass fishing but lots of snakes!

First trip for the new camper.
Everything seems to be working fine!

Sure beats camping in the old trailer..
some question if this is really 'camping'!

Best investment money can buy..
especially when blackflies are in season!

The lazy Carp river - home to
some decent Bass & Pickerel fishing.

Penny's Fudge Factory - Fitzroy Hbr..
50 types - it just doesn't get any better!

Our preferred style of camping..
peaceful - NO large crowds!

Fitzroy Park 100+ years ago..
Now THESE fellows were REAL campers!

Some of Brodie's little 'friends'..
...the neighbourhood Groundhog family!!

The 'ol camping homestead at Fitzroy
Nice and private - we always get site 33!
( NOTE: all fish caught in the above photos were returned unhurt )
