Presquile Provincial Park
May 16 - June 7th, site #99 booked
June 7th - 28th, site #83
Har we goes agin - we allers include Presquile in our spring camping plans - tradition and all that! On different sites this time - sites #99 & 83 - 99 on the bluffs with a direct view of the water and nice shade thanks to a large oak tree. 83 is close to "Party Central" - surrounded by other "poof'ers" {Presquile Order of Old Ferts}. May & early June is a good time to be at Presquile - before schools get out - not crowded, bugs have not yet massed and the steady offshore breezes keep them down even if they do arrive. Most of our camping friends will be coming in early June and we will be extending our park stay accordingly.

Escuminac Family Park & Beach - NB
June 29th - July 17th or later
booked
Something new - a rather lengthy trek down to New Brunswick - a campground owned by a friend, located right on the ocean. The campground is almost on the beach which is separated from the sites by a large dune. Less than a 30 second walk from site to beach! We will be camping with Jackie's sister and her hubby, dining on lots of lobster and other seafood, and of course, spending time at Saddlers Café in Miramichi. The owner, Alan, is a good friend and runs a great eaterie. While we are there, time to get out the fly rods and take on the renowned Atlantic Salmon at another friends resort - Byzie Coughlan's Country Haven Lodge - where Jackie learned to fly-fish last year! And of course, still many geocaches waiting to be discovered that were missed on our last trip!

Presquile Provincial Park
August 21st - September 13th, site #83
September 13th - 27th, site #99 booked
Our usual fall camping session. Back on the same sites we occupied in the spring but in reverse order. Same old - same old... gang will be there, Hastings and other dinners out, have to wipe out all the local geocaches I missed in the spring (and new ones of course), late August, early September we will have to take a few dips in the lake at SandBanks - Jackie has to practice her snorkeling for the Yucutan trip, lots of campfires, games day, the fall "turkey dinner" at Wooler - then looking foreward to spending six weeks on the Yucatan in late January-March - life isn't bad, not bad at all!
